Classic kitchen design
Decided to step out of my preference "Contemporary" and design a Classic/traditional theme kitchen.
I love how classic kitchen designs capture the use of wood, engravings on doors and panels, curved out cornice, traditional hood and the overall lighting that's gives the space a warm feeling.
The separate area with seats is called a "Kitchen nook" and serves the purpose of a sitting area right in the kitchen.
The ceiling design was also meant to pull the overall design together.
As a designer it's good to step out of your comfort zone sometimes and try different themes.
